cropped-core-0029c.jpgAfter seven years of litigation, and managing my own caseload for a firm, I realized that it was not the life for me. I found myself enjoying the drafting, research and preparation aspect of legal practice, but did not enjoy the litigation side.

After careful thought and decision, I left the firm I was with in 2015 and started accepting contracted projects. Years later, I love the work that I do. I take pride in helping firms stay on top of their deadlines, to thoroughly prepare them for trial and hearings, and to see my services directly benefit the attorneys as well as the clients.

The enjoyment I gain from my work is reflected in the completed projects I provide, and the relationships I maintain with the attorneys that frequently work with me, some of whom have been clients since 2015.

I have helped provide firms with in depth research, strategy and review for a broad range of cases, from the first filings through trial. I assess the facts of each case file and provide help on all phases of casework from resolving initial issues of support, domestic violence restraining orders, and emergency orders, to long term resolution of issues, including property, spousal support and custody. I also specialize in preparing a varying range of family issues for hearing, trial and settlement, by employing the use of  experts, proper legal methods and research. As a result, I have had the opportunity to work with many different experts on a wide range of issues.

My work has involved directly consulting with and working with forensic accountants, financial advisers and tax specialists to investigate and uncover financial issues, including the high income earning ability of parties and concealed assets. I have helped review financial documents, and other relevant material to accurately evaluate income available for purposes of support and attorney’s fees. I have also worked with medical professionals and experts to determine and defend a party’s ability to be gainfully employed and secure employment, as it relates to spousal support. As well as psychologists, child custody evaluators and minor’s counsels to ensure the best possible custody and visitation order that is in the best interest of the children and to demonstrate issues of abuse, alienation and abandonment.
