Essentially, my goal is to provide your firm with assistance that allows you to run your firm efficiently, and in a manner that allows you to comfortably meet all of your deadlines, as well as timely prepare for hearings or trials.
Accordingly, my services are any tasks that allow you to achieve these goals. The following are examples of the type of projects I complete for my clients:
- Review pending issues in a case, develop a case specific, and issue specific discovery plan. Draft discovery requests, including, but not limited to, Request for Admissions, Form Interrogatories, Special Interrogatories, Request for Production of Documents for civil litigation, and Subpoenas.
- Respond to discovery: Prepare objections, review and compile responsive documents in all areas of law.
- Review produced discovery for documents and admissions pertinent to the issues at trial and prepare summary.
- Drafting of discovery motions; Motion to Quash, Motion for Protective Order; Motion to Compel.
- Drafting complete motions; including Memorandums of Points and Authorities, Declarations, exhibits, and Judicial Council forms.
- Preparing Responsive Declarations to motions, and Reply Declarations, including exhibits.
- Research memorandums
- Pleading review, analysis and organization (especially useful for newly subbed in counsel)
- Preparing Marital Settlement Agreements
- Preparing trial charts in anticipation for trial; including trial issues, arguments, legal authority and supporting evidence
- Trial Preparation: compiling exhibits, preparing trial brief, witness list, exhibit list, testimony questions, oral argument, opening argument, and closing argument.
- Preparing Findings and Orders After Hearing
- Preparing Settlement Conferences: Compiling all applicable documents and information, preparing charts with positions and arguments, and briefs.
- Review all facts and information and prepare a detailed settlement offer.
